Glasgow, Monday, 13th July 2015 – Three Paralympic Qualification times, a new African Record and a bronze medal for Mzansi’s finest during the opening day of the IPC Swimming World Championships taking place at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre in Glasgow, United Kingdom.

Nominations are open for the 10th annual gsport Awards, South Africa’s longest running women’s sports Awards, launched in 2006 to raise the profile of South African women in sport, and significantly encourage Corporate South Africa to back female athletes.

South Africa’s three top swimmers ended their European sojourn with a bag-full of silverware over the weekend.
