Johannesburg, Thursday, 13th December 2018 - Cameron van der Burgh, one of South Africa’s greatest swimming stars has announced his retirement from international competitions after winning the 100m breaststroke at the FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) in Hangzhou, China on Wednesday.

Hangzhou, Wednesday, 12th December 2018 - Cameron van der Burgh claimed Mzansi’s second medal, winning gold and setting a new Championship Record in the 100m breaststroke race on the second day of the 14th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) in Hangzhou, China today.

Gaborone, Wednesday, 12th December 2018 - The South African swimming team dominated the Africa Union Sports Council Region 5 U20 Youth Games in Gaborone, Botswana where they won a total of 62 medals over four days of competition, two more than the 2016 event.
