Kingfisher Club hosted the 2018 National Age Groups for Artistic Swimming at the Hillcrest Swimming Pool in Pretoria from 13th to 17th December. The event incorporated trials for the FINA Senior Worlds and the FINA 13-15 Age group competition (both scheduled for 2019), in addition to the regular age group competitions of figures, solos, duets, and teams. Clubs from Cape Town (1), Port Elizabeth (2), East London (2), Durban (2), Johannesburg (1) and Pretoria (1)competed.

Hangzhou, Sunday, 16th December 2018 - The South African swimming team has made the country proud at the 14th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) in Hangzhou, China, bringing home a total of seven medals (three gold, two silver and two bronze), three African Records and two Championship Records.
