Alli Gerths

Alli Gerths is a United States of America (USA) Peace Corps Response Volunteer serving at JET Education Services, where she is dedicated to promoting parent and caregiver involvement initiatives in ECD programmes & primary schools across South Africa. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and minor in Anthropology from Saint Mary's College - Notre Dame, and brings over a decade of experience in the fields of education, health, and youth development across the United States and Southern Africa. Her varied work includes coordinating community-based parent support, health, & life-skills programmes, designing and facilitating multilingual professional development workshops, providing support to ECD and special education classrooms, and managing large-scale summer camps and after-school enrichment & education programmes. Additionally, Alli is certified as an instructor by the Red Cross in Adult & Paediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, having trained over 60 individuals in these life-saving skills.
