At a seminar held in Cape Town in May 2015, participants from PPJA partner organisations discussed indicators for measuring pre-trial justice in Africa. A "long-list" of draft proposed indicators was agreed upon by the end of the seminar. Further consultations are planned to expand the extent of consultation and to refine the proposed indicators.

The SARChI Chair in Multilevel Government, Law and Policy at the University of the Western Cape is offering four prestigious one year bursaries. The Community Law Centre, as a partner of the Centre of Excellence in Food Security, offers an additional bursary. The bursaries, for full-time study on campus, include study fees, a generous monthly stipend, and IT equipment.
On 31 August, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) Chile, a project based at Diego Portales University in Chile, will launch a free online course on Transparency and Anti-Corruption. The course will deal with good governance issues, emphasising transparency and anti-corruption practices in the public domain.
